Cost-of-living Bonus. —The payment of this bonus has been continued in necessitous cases. Retirement as permanently medically unfit. —By the provisions of section 44 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1927, the restriction confining the benefits of the provisions of section 77 to those with over fifteen years' service has been withdrawn. Any contributor, irrespective of the length of his service, may now apply for retirement on the ground of permanent medical unfitness. , R. A. Wright, Chairman.
