CONTINGENTS FOR SOUTH AFRICA: LIST OF NAMES OF SUBSCRIBERS TO THE NEW ZEALAND MOUNTED BUSHMEN'S FUND IN LONDON; ALSO, LIST OF CONTRIBUTIONS, BOTH IN MONEY, CLOTHING, ETC., FOR THE USE OF THE CONTINGENTS.

The Aoent-General to the Eight Hon. the Premier. Westminster Chambers, 13, Victoria Street, London, S.W., Sir,— 23rd February, 1900. to my letter, No. 249, of the 9th instant, I beg to state that the subscriptions to the New Zealand Mounted Bushmen's Fund amount at this date to £1,529 Bs. 6d., as per list, copy of which I herewith enclose. I also enclose copies of lists of contributions, both in money and clothing, &c, which have been made for providing comforts, &c, for the use of the New Zealand Contingents in South Africa. The larger portions of these are now on the way to the Cape. I have this day paid into the Public Account the further sum of £469 10s. on account of New Zealand Mounted Bushmen's Fund, and have advised the Treasury accordingly.
