1899. NEW ZEALAND.

IMPORTS FROM AND EXPORTS TO THE AUSTRALASIAN COLONIES, WITH VALUE AND DUTY CHARGED DURING THE LAST FIVE YEARS.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 30th August, 1899. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return setting forth under their various heads, and showing for each year separately,—(l) The value of all goods imported into this colony from the Australasian Colonies during the last five years, with the rate of duty charged; (2) the value of all goods exported from New Zealand to the Australasian Colonies during the last five years, with the rate of duty charged in each colony; (3) the value of all goods transhipped during the last five years from New Zealand to the Australasian Colonies, or from the Australasian Colonies to New Zealand; and (i), if possible, the volume and value of all colonial produce either exported to or imported from New Zealand from and to the various Australasian Colonies during the last five years, with the rate of duty charged in eaoh oolony."—(Mr. Morbison.)
