INDUSTRIAL CONCILIATION AND ARBITRATION ACT. EXPENDITURE IN CONNECTION WITH AND DISPUTES CONSIDERED BY CONCILIATION COURTS.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 18th July, 1899. Ordered —" That there be laid before this House a return showing,—(l) The total expenditure in connection with the Conciliation Courts of the colony during the last two financial years; (2) the total cost incurred on each of the varioua cases brought before these Courts during the above period; also setting forth whether the decisions arrived at were appealed from or accepted ; (3) the amount paid as salaries, travelling-expenses, or other allowances to each member of the Board or to any official or witness, in connection with the proceedings of fcheae Courts during the above term." —Mr. Duthie.)
