(2.) They were enrolled at the Armed Constabulary Depot, Wellington. There is not sufficient information to show their previous places of residence : in many instances they were recent arrivals in the colony.

(3.) The names of persons transferred from the Field Force to the Police Branch of the Armed Constabulary during the above-mentioned period, and the length of service previous to their transfer to the Police Branch, are shown on the attached list.
