GOVERNMENT ADVANCES TO SETTLERS ACTS, 1894 AND 1895 (APPLICATIONS FOR LOANS, ADVANCES MADE, AND SECURITIES HELD AGAINST, IN EACH ELECTORAL DISTRICT).

Ordered "That there be laid before this House a return showing the number and amount lent in each electoral district under the Advances to Settlers Acts, 1894 and 1895 ; also the value of securities held against the same; also the number of applications received from each electoral district."—(Mr. McLachlan.)
