LAND DISPOSED OF BY MIDLAND RAILWAY COMPANY.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 11th day of August, 1892. Ordered, " That there bo laid before this House a return, showing—(l) The total quantity of land disposed of up to date by the Midland Railway Company in the Provincial District of Canterbury, and in that part of the south of the Provincial District of Nelson situated to the north of the Hurunui River; (2) the names of the persons to whom sold; (3) the quantity of land sold to each person ; with (4) the value obtained per acre of the said disposed lands."— (Mr. Meredith.)
