CENSUS OF NEW ZEALAND. APRIL, 1891.

Presented to both Houses of the General Assembly pursuant to section 12 of "The Census Act, 1877."

Registrar-General's Office, Wellington, 2gth June, 1891. The following tables show the population of the colony according to the census of the sth April, as made up from enumerators' summaries, after examination of details. The figures may be regarded as a close approximation to the exact population now being made up in this office from the household schedules. W. R. E. Brown, Registrar-General.
