Return of Rainfall (in inches) for each Year from 1864 to 1890, inclusive, together with Diagrams for the Four Principal Stations.
* The observations were discontinued at these stations at the end of 1880, owing to reduction of vote. In some cases the rainfall has been recorded, from that date, by amateur observers, but not regularly. + Observations taken at Christenurch up to 1880, when the stations were reduced; from 1881 the returns have been furnished by the School of Agriculture, Lincoln.
