Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 17th July, 1885. Ordered, " That there be laid upon the table a return of Telegraph and Post Office clerks who have been more than five years in the service, and whose salaries are under £130 per annum, with the salary of each respectively; also a return of the number of messages received and number of messages forwarded during the last financial year to and from each of the telephone bureaux, with the cost of each bureau for salaries and for expenses respectively."— (Mb.
