ROYALTY FROM WESTPORT COAL COMPANY.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 18th July, 1883. Ordered, "That there be laid on the table a return showing the amount of royalty received by the Governmen from the Westport Coal Company during the past three years."— (Mr. ShrimsM.)

In forwarding the enclosed "nil" return of royalties received by Government from the Westport Coal Company, I beg to state that the following account has been sent to the company through Messrs. Fell and Atkinson, Solicitors for the Crown, and that the issue of the lease is pending the payment by them of the balance due. The Westport Colliery Company. £ s. d.
