NATIVE SCHOOLS IN THE MIDDLE ISLAND (RETURN OF).
Return to an Order of the Souse of Representatives, dated Uth June, 1882. " That there be laid upon the table a return showing the names of the places where there are Native schools in the Middle Island, and the amount of salaries paid to the schoolmasters." — (Mr. Taiaroa.)
There are twelve Native schools in the Middle Island. The following is a list of the places, with the rate per annum of the teachers' salaries in each case: —
