CHARITABLE AID DISTRIBUTED IN THE COLONY (RETURN OF), FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31st MARCH, 1882.
Return to an Order of the Souse of Representatives, dated Bth June, 1882. "That there be laid upon the table a return showing the amount of charitable aid distributed in "the colony for the jear ending 31st March, 1882, and the amounts deducted from the subsidies or otherwise of the various local bodies in order to recoup to the Treasury that expenditure. The return also to show the respective amounts distributed in the principal towns of the colony."— (Mr. Cadman)
