* There has been an alternative route for traffic from stations between Christchurch and Kaiapoi to stations on the Rangiora-Oxford Branch from Bennett's westward, since the extension of tho KaiapoiEyreton Branch, from West Eyreton to Bennett's on Ist February, 1878.
