EXPORT DUTY ON GOLD.
Superintendent's Office, Sib, — Dunedin, 15th June, 1872. Enclosed, I have the honor to transmit copy of resolution passed by the Provincial Council of Otago, on the subject of Gold Export Duty. I have, &c, J. Macandkew, Superintendent of Otago. The Hon. the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Wellington.
Enclosure. GOLD EXPORT DUTY. " That, in the opinion of this Council, the Gold Export Duty should be reduced, and that a respectful address be presented to His Honor the Superintendent requesting him to forward this resolution to the General Assembly." — (Mr. Sickey?)
