REPATRIATION PLANS
DUNEDIN, Saturday “Plans are being worked out for the repatriation of New Zealand prisoners of war and civilian internees in Japanese-occupied territory,” said the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones. “Transport planes of the Royal New Zealand Air Force will assist in the work. In addition arrangements are being made for flying food and clothing to the prisoners.”
