ONLY TWO CANDIDATES
HARBOUR BOARD SEAT MR F. W. PLATTS WITHDRAWS Acting on medical advice. Mr F. W. Platts has withdrawn his candidature for the Auckland Harbour Board seat representing the four boroughs of Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Ngaruwahia. He will, however, continue his candidature for a seat on the Hamilton Borough Council. There are now only two candidates for the Harbour Board seat, Messrs C. Lafferty and J. R. Fow, both of Hamilton. Mr R. Eyre, of Ngaruawahia, was a candidate, but withdrew several days ago. Voters should note that Mr Platts’ name will appear on the ballot paper, as he did not withdraw more than seven days before election day.
