TO QUALIFY AS LEADERS
The Sydney Sun states that the Australian country girls who were chosen for the leadership camps conducted by the Agricultural Bureau, in conjunction with the Wans, one of which was in progress at the Y.W.C.A., Sydney, were selected on the following qualifications:— They must be interested in public affairs" and must take an active part in one or several of the organisations of their district, such as the Junior Farmers’ Association, the Agricultural Bureau, or C.W.A They must have self-conference. They must be able to organise and successfully run groups of people, displaying tact and judgment. They must have an intelligent knowledge of country conditions, particularly in their own district.
