VISITORS TO CLAUDELANDS
CAMP OPENING ON SUNDAY Arrangements have been made for the Claudelands camp to be open on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. until 4.30 p.m., and any members of the public who desire to visit the camp will be conducted around. There will be few troops of the 7th Medium Battery, New Zealand Artillery, in camp, however. Week-end leave from Saturday midday until Sunday midnight has been granted to A troop (Auckland), while members of headquarters and B troops (Hamilton) will be granted short leave. This leave will apply to those who require it on Saturday afternoon, again on Saturday evening, and on Sunday. The troops of the Hamilton troops will be required to sleep in the camp each night, however. They will get full weekend leave the following week.
