HAPPY DANCE
WAIKATO REBEKAH LODGE The Noble Grand Sister H. Silvester presided at the fortnightly meeting of the Matua Waikato Rebekah Lodge No. 75 1.0.0. F., held in the Masonic Hall, Frankton Junction. There was a fair attendance of members. Various lodge matters were dealt with, D.D.G.M. Brother J. A. Reidy being called upon to make a presentation to Brother C. Mangan P.G., who has recently been married. Brother Mangan suitably responded. After the closing of the meeting, an enjoyable dance was held. Brother J. P. Coulter acted as master of ceremonies, and the music was supplied by the lodge orchestra. Novelty dances were won by Mr and Mrs V. Towers, and Miss M. Watson and Mr C. Jackson. Supper was served by members of the social committee. Among those present were:—Mesdames T. Pratt, L. S. Webster, V. Warneford, M. Otto, J. Paley, R. Coulter, V. Towers, M. Searle, M. Morrow, A. M. Cusack, Clifford, R. Logan (Cambridge), B. Blackburn (Cambridge), J. Johnson (Cambridge), J. Watt (Cambridge). Misses D. Duff, M. Hoare, J. Woods, Joan Webster, Jean Webster, Joyce Warneford, G. Libeau, M. Watson, H. Silvester, B. Schumacher, E. Leitch.
