NEWSTEAD FUNCTION

SUCCESSFUL DANCE A jolly evening, organised by the hall committee, was held on Monday night at Newstead. The music was supplied by Clayton’s oi’chestra. During the evening the opportunity was taken of saying farewell to two members of the third echelon, Messrs Reg Moreland and G. Bankier. The winners of the novelty fiances were Mrs Kerr and Mr Priest, and Miss Amy Strang, and Mr F. Edwards. A flag five hundred tournament was won by Mrs Allan Baker and Mr McLennan.
