FANCY DRESS DANCE

FAIRFIELD SCHOOL CHILDREN The Fairfield Primary School children’s fancy dress ball was held in the Alexandra Hall on Friday evening. In spite of adverse weather conditions there was a good attendance and the function was very animated and colourful. The chairman, Mr Bishop, expressed appreciation of the efforts of the teachers in their efficient coaching of the children and to the ladies’ committee and parents for their support. The headmaster, Mr Sullivan, suitably responded to the eulogistic remarks and expressed his appreciation to the school committee in its organisation and to the children themselves in their creditable performance.
