Nuts and fruit sometimes sink to the bottom of a cake. To prevent this, warm fruit, roll in flour before adding to the mixture. Over the back of baby’s chair slip a padded tea-cosy. It will keep in place much better than a cushion and so prevent knocks and bumps to the back of baby’s head when he jumps about.
