HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS MANY EXCITING FINISHES It is difficult to imagine a more perfect setting for swimming baths than the beautiful grounds of the Hamilton High School, where beds of glowing flowers, lovely trees and green sloping terraces all combine to make a charming sylvan picture. It was in these ideal surroundings that ihe Girls’ Swimming Sports were held yesterday afternoon, there being a large attendance of parents and interested spectators to witness the very line performances of the competitors. Miss E. McNicol, sports mistress, was in charge of the events. The winner of the senior championship was D. Dingle, and the junior championship was won by F. Cowley. The Waikato Diocesan School carried off the honours in the inter-school relay, and Old Girls were the winners of the Past v. Present event. The guests were received by the principal, Mr H. D.
