BARONOVA IN “FLORIAN.”
“SEX GLAMOUR” EMPHASISED Hedy Lamarr’s place in “Ziegfeld Girl” has been taken by Irina Baronova, a dancer from the Ballet Russe, and the experts are already hailing her as the greatest “sex sensation to hit town since Jean Harlow in “Hell’s Angel’s” and that includes Ann Sheridan,” says a film magazine. Baronova is making her film debut in “Florian.” Those in Hamilton who remember Baronova’s exquisite grace when she was here with the Covent Garden Russian Ballet will be amused by America’s emphasis of her sex glamour rather than her wonderful artistry.
