“NEW MOON”
JEANETTE MacDONALD FILM MELODY, ROMANCE, SPECTACLE “New Moon,” the popular musical play, is being made into a film in Hollywood, with Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy in the leading roles. “New Moon” is filled with lovely melodies, and tells a romantic story, besides giving scope for spectacular effects. It should thus be an ideal choice for the popular singing stars. Miss MacDonald and Mr Eddy are also to do “Showboat,” the third time it has been made.
