DEATH OF ACTOR
VICTIM OF AIR RAID TRAGIC CIRCUMSTANCES (United Press Assn.—Eiec. Tel. Copyrignt) LONDON, Feb. 15 Harry Tate, famous comedian, whose death was announced yesterday, was the victim of an air raid. He entered a street in Dundee last November to see a raid, when a shell splinter entered an eye. A heart attack followed. Mr Tate’s death was the more tragic because a few weeks after the accident he was due to appear in a West End show, re-entering the front ranks of the top-liners.
