U-BOATS SUCCESSFUL
CLAIMS BY GERMANY CAPTURE OF PRISONERS ((United Press Ann.—Clec. Tc-L Copyright) (Received Feb. 16. 11.10 a.m.) BERLIN, Feb. 15 A communique states that several prisoners were taken during reconnaissances in the frontier region to the south of Saarbrucken. U-boats were especially successful yesterday, 58,000 tons of shipping being sunk on that day alone. PARIS, Feb. 15 A communique states that there was local action between contact units at nightfall yesterday in the region east of the Saar.
