KING AND SHIPPING LOST VESSELS REPLACED PRESENTS FROM DUKES (Official Wireless) (Received Feb. 16, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 15 The King to-day talked to shipowners of the work of the Merchant Navy during the war, w’hen His Majesty paid a private visit to the Chamber of Shipping’s new’ building in London. During a tour ol the building the King showed special interest in the recently-completed charters and in the records of the losses of British merchant ships since the war. Regarding the latter he was assured that the losses w j ere far more than offset, by the new' construction The Duke and Duchess of Kent have sent tw'o boxes of their children’s clothing to the Finland Fund. The Duke, in informing Lady Weigall of the gift, expressed admiration for the magnificent fight which Finland is waging against overwhelming odds. PARIS, Feb. 15 After a visit by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor to a French sanatorium the Duke sent a bottle of champagne to each inmate. The DiadMNf presented 300 pairs of mittens.
