NO DISAGREEMENT
AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY (United Tress Asm.—EJ<*c. Tel. Copyrfffcl. WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 Replying to suggestions in the press that President Roosevelt and the Secretary of State, Mr Cordell Hull had disagreed in regard to the mission to Europe of the Assistant Secretary uf State, Mr Sumner Welles. Mr Hull said: "I think the President and I regard policies and methods pertaining to foreign affairs nearly as uniformly as any persons who ever occupied our positions.” Later the British Ambassador, the Marquess of Lothian, conferred for an hour with Mr Hull on contraband control problems. No final decision was reached.
