ROMNEY RAM FAIR
OFFERING TOMORROW A total of 1033 high-class Romney rams will be offered at the first annual Romney fair of the Waikato ! sheepbreeders’ Association, to be held j ir. the selling pavilion at the Claude- | lands Showgrounds tomorrow. Every j ram will have been bred by the ! vendor and the fair will offer an ex- J ceptional opportunity to producers to 1 acquire rams of outstanding quality. All rams will be inspected before the sale and any not up to standard will be rejected for auction. Prominent Waikato and southern breeders will be represented in the catalogue. The fair will be conducted by Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Company, Ltd., Messers Newton King, Ltd., and Messrs Wright Stephenson and Company, Ltd. TTRAU SHEEP FAIR The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, draw attention to their Tirau sheep fair to take place on rebruary 15, at which fixture they will offer 8000 sheep, including special entries ex East Coast and on account of local breeders. Mention is also made of their Waihi stock sale to be conducted on the same date, when 100 head of cattle and 200 fat and store pigs will be submitted.
