Mrs Valder was thanked for the offer of milk for use at the club. Votes of thanks were accorded the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union for supplying weekly papers, and the Waikato Times and Herald for daily papers. Mrs Holknvay congratulated the committee on the spirit of co-opera-tion shown and the harmonious manner in which all worked to make the club the success it is. Arrangements were made for future hostesses. It was resolved that any member of the committee missing three consecutive meetings without an apology shall be deemed to have resigned and her place filled. The question of providing soldiers on week-end leave with billets was discussed and special efforts are being made in this direction. Any citizen who can assist in this respect is asked to communicate with any member of this committee.
