The Governor-General, Viscount Galway, who inspected the troops at Hopu Hopu military camp this morning, arrived in Hamilton at mid-day attended by Captain Lord Dormer, A.D.C. He lunched in Hamilton and following a private engagement this afternoon, he will leave by the express this evening for Wellington. The Hon. W. Nash, Minister of Finance, inspected the Papakura military camp yesterday afternoon. The Hon. F. Langstone, Minister of Lands and acting-Minister of Native Affairs, has returned to Auckland after a tour of the north, in the course of which he inspected land development schemes. He will leave tor Wellington to-night. Mr H. D. Caro, Mayor of Hamilton, will leave to-night by express lor Wellington. He will return on Wednesday. The Rev. H. G. Gilbert, of Hamilton. left for Hastings yesterday morning in response to an urgent call due to a family bereavement. Leading Aircraftsman D. M. Church, formerly of Hamilton, has been transferred from Hobsonville Air Base to Blenheim. Messrs W. D. Humphreys (New Plymouth), F. Sharpe, T. U. Kay, C. Doyle (Dunedin), J. Duncan (Roxburgh), G. S. Reid, H. E. Marton, R. Walton (Wellington) and W. James (Auckland) are -at the Hamilton Hotel.
