TRANSPORT HELD UP
OIL FROM RUMANIAN WELLS GERMANY FACING PROBLEM (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 9, 3.15 p.m.) BUDAPEST, Feb. 8 German efforts to solve the problem of oil transport from Rumania have thus far failed, says the newspaper Pester Lloyd. Xhe newly-formed Rumanian Petrol Commissariat told a German negotiator at Bucharest that 3000 Government-owned petrol rail waggons were only sufficient for home purposes. Neither the commissariat nor the Government possesses the right to force private companies to send their trucks across the frontier.
