MARTYRED POLAND FORMER MISTAKES NAZI BRUTALITY

Copyright) PARIS, Feb. 7 The Polish Minister in France, M. 1 Stronski, stated today that only immediate action would prevent German ba-barism destroying :i,e remnants of the Polish nation. Millions of Poles who had been domiciled in their native land for a thou sau.d years nad been brutally ti 3ns- ■ planted at half an hour’s no Lee. Poland’s lightning defeat was admitted to have been due to the former Government's mistakes. These were numerous, but Poland had been free for only 20 years after 150 years of slavery. “Have not great nations who have bt en free since the beginning oE their existence made mistakes regarding Germany in the past 20 years?” asked M. Stronski. The Polish Government in Paris reveals i.hat because two Poles killed two German soldiers who were attempting to arrest them, one inhabitant in every 10 in a Polish village near Warsaw was executed. Entire families were dragged from their houses at night and lined up in groups and then machine-gunned.
