REMEMBRANCE IN NEW YORK SPECIAL DAY PROCLAIMED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 9, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 8 Mr Lehman, Governor of New York, is proclaiming Sunday, February 11, as Polish Day, “in remembrance of the religious and lay martyrs of the war.” He urges Americans to “pray for the millions of Poles who are undergoing untold misery and persecution.”
