WEDDING
SAYERS —RYAN -st. Peter's Cathedral, Hamilton, was the scene of a charming wedding on Saturday morning when Mary, youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs I. P. Rvan, was married to Horace William, eldest son of Mr and Mrs 11. Sayers, of Auckland. The ceremony was performed by the Very Rev. T. P. Weatherhog, Dean of Hamilton, and Mr E. 11. Apthorp presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr G. Ryan, of Auckland, wore a charming frock, cut on slimfitting lines, of ice-blue French spongecloth trimmed with scalloped insertions on the yoke, sleeves and hemline. She wore a model hat of black pleated georgette and carried a bouquet of pale-pink camellias, sweetpeas and maidenhair fern. The Bridesmaid She was attended by Miss Margaret Sayers, as bridesmaid, who was wearing a frock of cream sharkskin cut on Grecian lines and adorned with touches of pale pink and blue. She wore a cream tulle hat, the crown of which was comprised of blue velvet bows, and she carried a bouquet of blue hyacinths, sweetpeas and maidenhair fern. Mr W. Bloodwortb, Wellington, was best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Centreway Rooms, where the guests were received_ by the bride's sister, who was wearing an ensemble of prunella wool angora trimmed with beige fox fur and a toning hat. She wore n shoulder spray of orchids. The bridegroom’s mother wore a model frock of black wool georgette, a black hat and silver fox furs. Her flowers were orchids. When Mr and Mrs 11. W. Sayers left for the wedding trip, the bride travelled in a navy Angora frock worn with a navy hat and accessories. They will make their home in Hamilton. The invited guests were:—Mr and Mrs H. A.
