ARMED HOLD-UP CASE TWO YOUNG MEN REMANDED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) HASTINGS. Frida v K«*en public interest was taken this morning in the appearance before Mr J. Strickland. J.l\, in the Police Court ol‘ the two youths who were arrested yesterday in connection with the armed hold-up of a petrol station proprietor on Tuesday night. The accused are Horace Timothy O'Connor, aged 17, of Hastings, and .John McDonald, aged 21, of Waipukurau. They were charged with assault and robbery of Albert Arthur 'Wilson. A remand was granted until Thursday. Accused, said the police, were also allegedly associated in a similar case 'n Wellington recently.
