RIFLE CLUB OFFICERS DENTAL CLINIC PROJECT (Special to Times) OTOROHANGA, Friday. The annual meeting- or the Otorohanga Defence Ritle Club was largely attended by ridi-mru and prospective members. The. report and balance-sheet revealed a sound financial condition. The election or officers Tor the ensuing year resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr A. J. McCready; president, Mr G. VV. L. Dickens; range officer, the president, with power to appoint a deputy; trench officers, Messrs Southall and Hyde; haivdicappers, Mr F. E. Hyde and the president; coaches, Messrs Southall, Hyde and the president; ammunition custodian, Mr G. AV. L. Palmer; executive committee. Messrs J. Klean, K. McDonald E. Southall, F. Phillips, J. Fenton and F. L Thomas. The executive committee were appointed to draw up a programme for opening the new season, which was fixed for Labour Day. It was decided that the women’s shoot this year should be with .22 rifles. it was decided to employ regular markers, as members were of the opinion tliai the charges for club membership were very reasonable ami that ritlemen would prerer to pay an extra levy for markers at sii'M.t-. so that members would not have to interfere with their shooting in ordei to take turns as markers DENTAL CLINIC EXTENSION An active movement is afoot to raise a sum of £IOO for an extension to the evicting comprehensive dental clinic buildings or the Otorohanga Consolidated botnet High school.
