WAIKATO HOSPITAL
RUNNING LIKE CLOCKWORK COMMITTEE’S REPORT TRAINING OF NURSES “We often wondered why we secured such good results at the Waikato Hospital, but after seeing the conditions under which the nurses are trained I realised that they had a wonderful opportunity for learning.” said Mr F. Potts, when reporting on behalf of last month's visiting committee at the monthly meeting of the Waikato Hospital Board to-day. “In the new building they have everything at their disposal and I feel that at present the institution would compare favourably with any In the Dominion. “Another thing that impressed me greatly was the fact that the stores of glassware and other materials are kept well replenished, and that is a great tiling al a time when there is a possibility of supplies from Europe being suddenly cut off. The whole institution is running like clockwork." Mr H. M. Martin also spoke on behalf of the committee and expressed pleasure at the manner in which the hospital was being run. Messrs F. Potts and G. Smith were appointed as next month’s visiting committee.
