NETT REVENUE £700,000 MINISTER’S FORECAST REALISED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday The New Zealand Railways’ nett revenue for the year ended March 31 will be £700,000 and the gross revenue over £9,000,000. This forecast was made to-day by the general manager, Mr G. 11. Mackley, who has left on a [loliday trip to Waimate and Pembroke. “All indications are that the Minister’s anticipations will be realised,” said Mr Mackley. “The figures will show a record year of operation.”
