GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS OF THIRD ROUND (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday A strong wind from the north accompanied at times by driving rain made conditions more difficult for the New Zealand women's golf foursomes to-day. Results: — Third Round Mesdames Slater and Crisp beat Mesdames McKenzie and Houston. 8 and G. (The winners were conceding five strokes) ; Mesdames Norman and Ashe beat Mesdames Richmond and Banks, 5 and 4. Mesdames Cook and W ilson heat Mrs Hall-Jones and Miss McCallum at the nineteenth; Mesdames Marshall and Hannan beat Mesdames Tripe and Whatley, 5 and 4: Mrs Lewis and Miss White-Parsons beat Mrs Ellis and Miss Thompson, 5 and 3; Misses Beadel and Nutt beat Mesdames Pearce and Treadwell, 3 and 2 : Mesdames Holden and Esdaile beat Mesdames Davidson and Schneider at the twentieth; Mesdames Chapman and Munden beat Mesdames Duncan and Dudley at the nineteenth. Fourth Round Mesdames Slater and Crisp beat Mesdames Cook and Wilson, 3 and 2; Mesdames Ashe and Norman beat Mesdames Marshall and Harman, 3 and 2; Mrs Lewis and Miss White-Parsons beat Misses Beadel and Nutt, i up; Mesdames Chapman and Munden beat Mesdames Holden and Esdaile, 3 and 2.
