NEED FOR EQUIPMENT DEPUTATION TO MINISTER (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday A deputation from sports bodies waited on Hon. W. E. Parry, Minister of Internal Affairs, seeking grants to provide full equipment for instruction in gymnastic and other physical work. It was stated there was a growing manifestation of the need for higher training among young people, notably those connected with swimming, football and athletic clubs.
