The British Broadcasting Corporation has Issued the final details of the Empire's homage programme for Coronation Day (May 12}. It will opeln with a recorded extract from the Coronation service. There will follow a recorded "Hash** of the Royal procession. After that a septuagenarian resident of London who remembers the Coronations of George V. and Edward VII. and Queen Victoria’s golden and diamond Jubilees will be the first representative citizen to offer homage. Other Britons Include an Aberdeer woman who will greet Queen Elizabeth from her native Scotland. New Zealand Bailor and Maori. The homage of the Empire Prime Ministers will be interspersed with that of representatives of their Dominions, Including a Jackaroo speaking from Sydney, a New Zealand sailor and a Maori spokesman using his native tongue, from Wellington. As London calls each Domlnon, specially composed trumpet fanfares will be played. Rehearsals will begin on May 3. PROCESSION THROUGH STREETS. ANOTHER CORONATION REHEARSAL TIMES CAREFULLY CHECKED. There was another Coronation rehearsal early to-day. this time for the visit of the King and Queen to the city on May 19. The State landaus and mounted troops passed from Buckingham Palace along Pall Mall, the Strand and Fleet Square to the Guildhall, returning via Ihe Embankment. The times were carefully checked. The King's message to ex-servtee-men will be distributed world-wide on the morning of Coronation Day, accompanied by an official souvenir Coronation programme. The Minister of Pensions, referring to the difficulty In speedily distributing the programme, which has only Just been printed, says It Is essential to send programmes weighing over lcwt. to New Zealand and Australia, to which there is no parcels air mail. Imperial Airways, Limited, overcame the difficulty by generously sending coplea by the regular air service. DEDIOATION OF OHAPBL. MILITARY COLLEGE AT SANDHURST MEMORY OF FALLEN MEN. The King and Queen attended the dedication of the completed chapel at the Royal Military College at Sandhurst. which was erected in memory of 4300 Sandhurst men who fell In the Great War.
