ELECTION OF DIRECTORS, KEEN INTEREST EVINCED. A SITTING MEMBER DEFEATED. The results of the election for four directors of the New Zealand Co-op-erative Dairy Company, Limited, are announced to-day. Mr J- Henry, of Patumahoe, was elected for the northern electoral district, the vacancy being caused by the death of Mr Dynes Fulton. The contest for-this seat was particularly keen, no fewer than eleven candidates standing. In the south-western district the sittihg member, Mr F. O. R- Phillips, of Otorohanga, was returned and in tho south-eastern district Mr R. A. Gandy, of- Walton, defeated the sitting member, Mr W. 11. Allen, of Tirau. Air W. Marshall, of Paeroa, was successful in the Paeroa ward where the vacancy was created by the retirement ol Mr G- Buchanan. Following are the results: — NORTHERN ELECTORAL DISTRICT.
