SOCIAL AFTERNOON
CAMBRIDGE CROQUET CLUB. Mrs W. Hj Hall, president of the Cambridge Croquet Club, entertained members and friends at her residence, “ Glen Alvon,’’ on Wednesday, at a very enjoyable social afternoon. Mrs Hall, wearing a frock of navy marocaln relieved with white, received her guests in the drawing room, which was daintily arranged with spring flowers. During the afternoon musical items were given by Mrs Ilall, junior, Mrs F. Green, and Miss Hooker. Competitions were won by Mrs Murray and Mrs McLeod (To Puke). Among those present were:—Mesdames Murray, Bear (Te Puke), Hopkirk, Short, Bussell, Watt, Hardy, Harvey, Green, llall, junior, Gibbons, Goodwin, Rogers, MacDonald, Fitzgerald, Hill, Hooker, McLeod (Te Puke), McCann. .Misses Ilicks and Hooker.
