WEDDING
KNOBLOCK —RUST. The marriage was solemnised at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Waipawa, on the morning of July 9, between Isobel Leith, elder daughter of Mrs Rust, of Waipawa, Hawke’s Bay, and the late Mr W. Rust, of Otorohanga, and Cecil George, eldest .son of Mr and Mrs J. W. Knoblock, of Waipawa. The Rev. F. W. Robertson performed the ceremony.
Tile bride, who entered the church with her brother, Mr W. Rust, wore a gown of ivory ring velvet, cut on classical lines, with full cowl neck and flared skirt. She wore a veil of Venetian lace and carried a shower bouquet of seasonable flowers. The bridesmaids were the Misses Jessie Rust (sister of the bride), and V. Knoblock (sister of the bridegroom), who wore frocks of ilame and eau de nil ring velvet modelled alike, the skirts falling to form slight trains. They wore headbands to tone and carried bouquets of toning flowers. Mr R. Knobiook (brother of the bridegroom), was best man, and Mr lan Harvey groomsman.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the Waipawa Concert Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs Rust, wearing a black floral crepe de chine ensemble with black felt hat and carrying a bouquet. She was assisted by Mrs Knoblock, wearing a cinnamon brown moss georgette ensemble with large hat of baku straw and autumn tinted bouquet. ' When Mr and Mrs C. G. Knoblock left for a motor tour of the Auckland Province the bride travelled in a frock of lido blue, embroidered in white silk, with blue fur felt hat, and musquash fur coat.
They will make their home at Waipawa.
