PROCEEDS FOR SEASON. ' DECLINE ON PREVIOUS YEAR. (By Telegraph.--—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Wellington Woolbrokers’ Association reports that at the fifth and final sale of the season at Wellington on April 13 a total of 9758 bales was offered, 9193 being sold and 565 passed in. The net weight of the wool sold was 3,379,5961 b. The gross proceeds were £92,331, the average price a bale £TO Os IOJd, and the average a pound 6.557 d. The gross proceeds of the five Wellington sales this season total £812,202, compared with £1,923,838 for the corresponding sales last season.
