A' representative of the Daily Express had a wireless telephone conversation with the British tennis champion, Fred Perry, in Australia concerning the latter's recent defeats. Perry said: “ 1 do not know what is wrong with me. 1 am physically tit, but I just cannot keep my mind on llie game. I shall do the best I can in the Australian championships, but I am not going to touch a racquet for 10 days.”
