Williams, the loser of £IO,OOO at Sunderland House, who stopped his cheque “ pending investigation of certain aspects,” announces that his solicitor has instructed him to arrange to meet the cheques “ from a specially deposited account." A message received earlier in the week , stated .that all London was talking of the gaming party, which was attended by Peers, Peeresses, Legislators and others. Young people honorarily served the drinks and acted as cloakroom attendants, while those prominent in social circles were croupiers.
